Leanne Christie [Biography]

Leanne is an established Devon artist who paints vibrant flowerscapes, water lilies, seascapes & moorlands. Self-taught but drawing inspiration from her artist mother, she has been professionally painting for over 20 years.

The past few years has seen Leanne's work escalate in attention and sales, her paintings now hang in homes around the UK and further afield. Leanne has been described as one of the most prolific artists in recent years.

Born in Warwickshire, Leanne now lives in South Devon with her husband, three children, two dogs and a cat! She draws inspiration from the ever changing moorlands, beautiful coastlines and Devon's famous floral hedgerows.

All of her paintings are predominately oil, embellished with glitter & gems. The unique paintings are textured with a three dimensional feel. Depending on the time of day or year, the light plays a magical park in making the paintings come to life. The paintings have an amazing amount of detail in them, seducing the observer into touching them!
