Martin John Fowler [Biography]

Martin was born in a mining community in South Yorkshire. He studied drawing and painting at Doncaster College of Art and studied Painting and Printmaking at Sheffield College of Art, completing his BA(hons) in Fine Art there.

Martin paints while travelling, focusing on the wild coastal areas of the UK, from the Scottish Isles to the beautiful hidden coves and fishing villages of Cornwall. He hopes to capture some of the essence of the locations he visits as they face the pressures of ever faster change. Martin’s paintings are held in many private collections around the world and are exhibited in galleries across the UK.
