Gina Fisher is an oil painter from Cornwall, who takes inspiration from the beautiful colours and creatures that fill her garden. She usually paints on large scale box canvases but they're not always on the larger side. Her work is fast becoming easily recognised in the art world with clients sucked in by the dreamy and atmospheric quality that each piece delivers.
'My art is a moment with nature. It's also about triggering a feeling- a feeling that might differ from person to person but the aim is to create that connection. I love to paint butterflies and hummingbirds and anything that flies! It's my mission in each piece to build depth and to create movement- to give each piece some energy. Texture is also important to me and I often embellish my work with drips of resin or 3D paint pens, so it becomes somewhat tactile. I love to draw people in with the little details and to get people examining the painting.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed painting them!'
